On this week’s Red Belly Radio I interview baseball legend Nolan Ryan.

I have a confession to make--I am a diehard baseball fan.  I played fast pitch softball all of my childhood; my dad is in a Texas Rangers season ticket group, and I am his favorite sidekick (I always remember to bring peanuts and bubble gum!); I even watch games on television no matter which teams are playing. 

It’s that time of year again for the start of a brand new baseball season.  I’ve written on this blog before about my love for the game, as have other bloggers.  But, I can’t help revisiting it this time of year.  Opening day is the only day of the season when “next year” is
