Southwest Airlines understands how seeing, touching, hearing, and doing opens up a whole new world for students—they are teachable and impressionable moments, said Karen Price-Ward, Corporate Community Affairs Manager for Southwest Airlines. We must continue to show our youth that they can do whatever they set out to do, if they work hard and believe in themselves.

A man with no sense of his past has no future as he is destined to the same pitfalls of his forefathers.  With that thought in mind, I contemplate my past, present, and future. It is something that I usually do as Black History Month draws near. My own barometer for “ how goes it?”
