I forget if it was Mike Myers, Austin Powers, or Dr. Evil that famously said “Allow myself to introduce...myself.” in his (their) first movie. Red Belly Radio is the podcast about Southwest Airlines and in this first episode, I review my career at Southwest and interview Paula Berg who helped manage this new blog project and talk to Chris Ronan from RD2 who helped make it all happen.

A New Customer's First Flight

A few days ago we ran a post about a Customer taking her first flight at age 106, and this post looks at a first flight at the other age extreme.  Southwest Customer Ted Althoff sent us this note along with two pictures of a new Southwest Customer on his very first airplane trip:

When LUV Comes to Town...MSP gets down!

 Well, the LUV officially came to town on a chilly Sunday morning at 7 am in Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP). That's right, the first flight out of our 65th destination city left on Sunday for Chicago's Midway Airport. How did the Southwest Employee volunteers get there in the first place?
