First, my apologies to William Shakespeare for changing his quote from Hamlet, "To be or not to be..." but I wanted to get your attention. Who better to borrow from than Shakespeare?

If someone comes to you and says you have to take eight weeks off, with pay, don't take it!  Why? Because you are not allowed to do anything.  To help you understand, I have to start where all stories start: at the beginning.

Back in the early days of computing, you had to type a long string of DOS commands in order to get anything done. Anyone remember ‘c:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe’ ?  Then along came Windows and icons with point and click. Those command lines are still there, but now clicking an icon sends those commands for you.
