| Movin' on Up: Jodi and Christie Find Breathing Room as Team Number Six |
| I noticed that Jodi and Christie seem to be using roller bags for their belongings. I don't think I've ever seen that on the "Amazing Race" before, and I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode. If anyone can pack a tight suitcase it's our Flight Attendants. Good Luck ladies! Hollye continues her reports about The Amazing Race.
Whoo Hoo! Our fearless Flight Attendants and Amazing Racers, Jodi and Christie (J/C), inched their way closer to the head of the pack and beat the curse of being the second to last team to arrive at the "Pit Stop." | Southwest Flight Attendants Escape Elimination and Live to Race Another Day |
| Thanks to the super-rude boyfriend who had to chase his cheese downhill, our ladies were saved! Whew! I first learned from my boyfriend (also a Southwest Employee) that my Fellow Coworkers were teaming up to race around the world against ten other couples, and we wondered: How would two Southwest Flight Attendants stack up against the competition? | "Unputdownable" |
| My most recent "unputdownable" book was "Marley & Me" by John Grogan. A couple others I had trouble putting down were "Isaac's Storm" and "Devil in the White City" - both books authored by Erik Larson. And finally, "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer. Have you read any unputdownable books lately? Yes, unputdownable may be an unfamiliar term to some of our blog readers, and while you won’t see this word in every dictionary, it is an attention-grabbing alternative to other more familiar (the overused and blasé, “a real page turner”) expressions used to describe a book that shaped an impactful reading experience. | EXPRESS BAG DROP IN OAKLAND |
| I was one of the lucky few to be on the testing team in OAK from Ground Ops. I saw that Customers really found this new tool to be quite useful. Our Customer Service Agents also said that for the most part it made their jobs easier and helped Customers move through the process more quickly. We have a new test underway, all in the name of improving the Customer experience. If you've traveled through the Oakland International Airport recently, you may have noticed a new feature available to help expedite the baggage checkin process. This new feature is called the Express Bag Drop, and here's how it works. Categories: Airports May 20, 2008 |
