Southwest Makes Trips to Vegas Even More Rewarding

I fell in love with Vegas the first time I visited at the age of 21 (WAY before the infamous “What Happens in Vegas” ad campaign launched). I remember being in awe of the bright neon lights; the fast-paced environment; the fabulous shows and the fun people watching. I’d seen Vegas on movies and television but there is nothing like seeing it all in person. I've returned many times since for both business and pleasure, each time has been a rewarding and unforgettable experience.

Now your trips to Vegas can be even more rewarding.

I work on the Customer Loyalty Team here in the Southwest Airlines Marketing Department, and we just launched Rapid Rewards’ first market-specific Preferred Partnership with The Venetian and The Palazzo hotels in Las Vegas.

Beginning today, Rapid Rewards Members will now have the option to earn Rapid Rewards credit for each qualifying stay at both hotel properties. Additionally, Members who book their hotel stays on southwest.com by Nov. 5, 2009, can earn double credit for stays through Dec. 31, 2009. To book a reservation, visit: southwest.com.
Since Southwest Airlines is the largest airline serving Vegas, it only made sense to partner with two of Vegas’ premier hotel brands, located right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. The Venetian and The Palazzo offer Vegas patrons more than 7,100 luxurious suites, exciting shows, fabulous restaurants and night clubs and all the excitement Vegas has to offer.

Do you remember your first trip to Vegas?  Feel free to share it here.  But keep it clean, folks!  What happens on the blog, stays on the blog.
